270 families from Pavlodar have received housing under state programs through the KMC

By the 25-th Anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan 270 families from Pavlodar have received housing under state programs. Public officers, employees of budget organizations, single-parent families and parents, bringing up challenged children, became the proud owners of apartments in two new buildings. The houses, which have been occupied today by new settlers, were built with the aid of the Kazakhstan Mortgage Company and Baiterek Holding – branch organization of “Baiterek” Holding. The Omarov family, consisting of ten persons, lived in a two-room dwelling since 2005. The small-scale apartment accommodated four generations: the grandmother, parents, the son with his wife, the daughter and grandkids. Shaimurat Omarov, a resident of Pavlodar, says: As you can see, the more the merrier. But we would like the state to give us one more apartment under the program as my daughter works in School No.25. According to the Omarovs, they have been living in peace and friendship despite narrowness. However, they have been dreaming of the resettlement for a long time. The first who registered for the waiting list for apartment was the daughter. Ainur Abdullina works as a school teacher and brings up two sons, 8 and 10 years of age. Today, during a solemn ceremony she received the coveted key from her own apartment together with another 269 families. However, the housing is rental but it can be repurchased in five years. All in all, 108 one-room, 108 two-room and 54 three-room apartments were commissioned in the two nine-storey houses on the Satpayev Street. 80 percent of the houses are made of construction materials of the Kazakhstan production. The rent for apartments will not exceed 840 KZT per one square meter. Zhanbolat Kurmanbayev, Head of the Financial Control Department of MO Kazakhstan Mortgage Company JSC, says: “Today we put into operation the houses on the Satpayev Street, designed for 270 apartments with the total area exceeding 14 thousand sq.m.  We hope that construction of dwelling houses under the “Nurly Zhol” Program will continue in the future.” Ainur Abdullina, a resident of Pavlodar, says: “I have children and parents. I have a grandmother. I have a little sister. And we have always had a dream. We needed this apartment very much.”

In total, in 2016 the Kazakhstan Mortgage Company will put into operation 326 thousand sq.m of housing across the country under the “Nurly Zhol” and “Regions Development-2020” Republican Programs.
