Kazakhstan Mortgage Company and Japan Housing Finance Agency agree joint measures to develop mortgage market of two countries.

JSC “MO “Kazakhstan Mortgage Company”, a subsidiary of “Baiterek” Holding, represented by Chairman of the Management Board Adil Mukhamejanov and Japan Housing Finance Agency, represented by President Toshio Kato, signed the Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of development of  mortgage market in Kazakhstan Japan.

The memorandum was signed within the working visit of the Kazakh delegation to Tokyo on February 5, 2020.

The memorandum provides for cooperation in the exchange of information on financial instruments that allow managing the housing finance market, and also establishes key areas and methods of cooperation for exchange of experience between companies of  two countries.

«We appreciate the opportunity to exchange experience with Japanese colleagues. This cooperation will allow both companies to bring into their activities new practical knowledge aimed at developing the mortgage and housing markets of two countries», - Adil Mukhamejanov noted.

In addition, the scope of cooperation within the signed Memorandum includes exchange of information on research in government and / or industry programs, including financial instruments that enhance the stability of housing and mortgage markets, risk management programs that ensure health of mortgage securities market , the study of the markets of "green" and "non-green" housing.

Bilateral cooperation was launched within the membership of both companies in the Asian Secondary Mortgage Association Market ( ASMMA).
